About Mark

Mark started his construction career at the age 17 working for his older brother as a custom woodworker. With 24 years of industry experience, he has worked in all facets of the industry from marketing and business development to field supervision and project management. He is a graduate of The University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and actively involved in several construction industry organizations. In 2014, he started Christensen Building Group, a commercial and industrial general contractor headquartered in Houston, Texas. Mark has a passion for adventure and the outdoors where he enjoys everything from hunting and snowboarding to riding motorcycles and flying planes.
